What Coverages are Available?

Below is a brief summary of the coverages we offer. Click on the coverages that interest you for more information.

  • Bodily Injury Liability
This is required by the State and is part of the State Minimum Liability coverage that we offer. If you cause an accident and there are injuries to other individuals, Bodily Injury Liability covers their medical expenses up to the limit on the policy.
  • Property Damage Liability
This is required by the State and is part of the State Minimum Liability coverage that we offer. If you cause an accident and there are damages to other vehicles, Property Damage Liability covers the repair expenses up to the limit on the policy.
  • Collision/Comprehensive
This is not required by the State and is sometimes referred to as “Full Coverage.” If you cause an accident that requires repairs to your vehicle, Collision/Comprehensive covers the damages in excess of your deductible. For example, if you cause an accident and your vehicle requires $5,000 in repairs and your deductible is $1,000, the insurance company pays $4,000 and you pay the $1,000 deductible. Individuals who are still paying off their vehicles normally have this coverage. Within these coverages, you are also covered for things such as your car being stolen or a light pole falling on your car when it’s parked at night.
  • Medical Payments
Provides coverage, up to your policy limit, for injuries to the driver of your car. It also provides coverage if you are hit by another vehicle while outside of your vehicle. Medical Payments coverage is not required by the State.
  • Uninsured Motorist
Provides coverage, up to your policy limit, for your injuries or damaged property if a person who does not have insurance coverage hits you. Depending on the State that you live in this coverage may be required.
  • Underinsured Motorist
Provides coverage, up to your policy limit, for your injuries or damaged property if a person whose insurance coverage limits are not enough to cover all your expenses hits you. Depending on the State that you live in this coverage may be required.
  • Roadside Assistance (Towing)
In the event that your car breaks down, runs out of gas or the battery dies, Roadside Assistance will be there to help. The coverage protects you up to $100 per incident. Although this is not required by the State, we highly recommend this coverage as it can be a huge help, and you can get a lot from it.
  • Rental Reimbursement
Helps pay for a rental vehicle if yours is in the shop because of a collision that is covered by your auto insurance policy. This coverage works as a reimbursement. We reimburse you for $25 per day for 30 days. Although this is not required by the State, we highly recommend this coverage as it can be a huge help, and you get a lot from it.
  • SR-22 Insurance
SR (financial responsibility) is a document that verifies that an individual has auto insurance. Many states require high-risk drivers to carry this document for a number of years in order to reinstate their driving privileges.
